How To Achieve A Beach Proof Makeup Look

There is a very specific look I go for when I go to the beach. I want to look natural, yet glowy, and I don’t have time for mascara running down my face when I’m taking a dip in the water. So I have a special makeup routine for when I spend a day at the beach that I would like to share with you ❤

Let me start off by saying when it comes to the beach and swimming, cream products are your best friend, and so is SPF. The very first thing I do is apply sunscreen to my face before anything else, and then I like to top that with a lightweight foundation or tinted moisturizer that has SPF. Lately I have been loving Physician’s Formula The Healthy Foundation. Its a light to medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish and has SPF 20.

For my lips I use my Sugar Rose Lip Treatment by Fresh, which has SPF 15. This gives a nice cherry color flush to the lips while keeping them super moisturized and protected from the sun and I really need to repurchase this because I am running low and it is one of my all time favorite lip products. Fresh also has these available in a variety of colors.

To add some warmth to my face I use Benefit’s Dew The Hoola cream bronzer and blend it out with a damp beauty sponge.

Since I don’t have any cream blushes I just used Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in the shade Inked In Pink on my cheeks. I then used the shade Barely Branded and Chocolate Suede on my eyes to create a subtle shimmery eye look.

I also forgot to mention that I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz to fill in my brows. And that is the completed makeup look ❤ Enjoy your fun in the sun this Memorial Day !
